Best Boy Deku
Best Grill Urarakakakakakaka
Best Score... Of course.. MiA :D

Can't be fucked to go through everything so I'll say this:

Anime of the Year is Rakugo, everyone else is wrong.

And how much salt do you think there'll be that Inuyashiki's OP wasn't nominated?

- how in the world Inuyashiki is in Best CGI? Love Live Sunshine season 2's CGI was much better
- tf is Best Score?
- since when is little witch academia a top comedy?
- why is dragon maid in so many nominations but not in Best SoL?
- why isn't BnHA season 2 in Best Continuing Series?

if your logic is valid then no your name shouldnt be on the list. First aired in the US in 2016 at anime expo.
Then Your Name should also be on Best Film 2018 nomination list because its airing in 2018 in various EU countries. USA is not the world. Original release date counts nothing else.
And yes i corrected my error with silent voice as well, thought it was released december 2016/early 2017. Silent voice shouldnt be on the list either.

The ultimate question is WHY GuP der Film, though??

AOTY: Little Witch Academia
Best Action:This is hard, I mean while I prefer Blood Blockade to the rest, in term of action I said Fate/Apoc has lots of cool action, but the show itself is just alright. So the best of two I said potentially either MHA or Land of Lustrous. Undecided.

Best Drama:Showa Genroku, even though I prefer Made in Abyss, and thought Showa Genroku season 2 is a disappointment, drama wise it was still engaging. Made in Abyss is not really a drama.

Comedy: Konosuba 2 since it is the most funniest out of all the option.

Best Slice of life:Girl Last Tour easily.

Best Continuing Series: I guess Dragon Ball Super, but that because is the only one I keep up with from this selection.

Best animation:Either Little Witch Academia or Land of Lustrous. I guess Land of Lustrous is more impressive due to being a good looking CGI anime, but Little Witch Academia just has so many great expression, and fast pace animation. Undecided

Hero of the Year:Deku because he the most hero character compare to the rest. I love Akko, but she not much of a hero if I am being honest.

Villain:Stain easily

Best Opening: Showa Genroku, and glad Princess Principal got a mention.

Best ending: Blood Blockade, never skip it.

Best boy: I would say Yakumo, but the fact that he potentially a Harvey Weinstein ruin that. I said Kazuma.

Best girl:Akko easily from the list.

Best film: Your Name since I did not get to see Silent Voice.

Best CGI:Land of Lustrous is the only answer. I mean a full that looks great, and even gorgeous. I mean the rest are either CGI in some scenes, or in Inuyashiki case, just mediocre CGI.

Best Score: Made in Abyss but Land of Lustrous was also phenomenal.

Score = Soundtrack.

On that note, the fact that Girls' Last Tour isn't a nomination for Best Score is upsetting. Don't mean to really just behind one show, but it only being a nomination for Best Slice of Life is sad. Hey, I guess I should just be happy that I actually like some of the shows nominated this year. I remember last year I couldn't care less about most of the nominees, lol.

aoty: MiA
best action: haven't seen BBB&B yet so it's a close one between Fate/Apo and Bnha but I guess I'd go with BnHA here
best animation: well since A Silent Voice is there, that I guess then ^^
best CGI: only seen the PV but hurrdurr Land of the Lustrous
best comedy: Kono2ba
best continuing: where's mah bnha2? Eh Dragon Ball Super then.
best drama: Scum's Wish
best boy: deku ez
best grill: uraraka
best movie: A Silent voice until I see Fate/stay HF
best manga: out of those, only one I've read is "my lesbian experience" so I guess that lol.
best OP: tie between MnY and AOT2
best ED: BBB&B ed
best score: MiA - Hanezewe Caradhina
best slice of life: Interviews with Monster Girls
best hero: deku
best villain: stain ez, tho lol'd at Tanya, isn't she more like just anti-hero rather than villain? The villain in that show is god himself, right?

Best girl no Nanachi yet put her in best Hero.

This is just weird and unfair cuz Deku is gonna take both of them.
Pretty stupid categorization.

Also Nanachi is more like an anti-hero if you watch the manga.

Best manga nomination is weird too, but Delicious in Dungeon is very very good.
Give it a watch , you won't regret.
Arguably the best RPG world type of setting you can ever witness.
(Way better than Overlord or SaO)
It has world building on par with Made in Abyss and comedy level of Konosuba.

Is a list for US audience, so yes the US is the only country that count. Also anime expo is not available to most general audience, so yes I think it is valid as far as anime award aim at US audience especially one that promote legal streaming. Because most anime movie that come out in Japan, won't be legally available to most US audience.

The oscar or other film reward don't look at the US only which is film that are not yet available for the US count.

I'm going to just be honest here in saying I am genuinely pissed off that any of the OST, OP, or ED from Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou weren't even a nominee. I would have been begrudgingly fine with these results if one of the 3 were represented but nope. - SuperStarfox64

Similar reaction so far in Crunchyroll's nomination.

Best Villain - Bondrewd
Totally the best Villain, only Hisoka can match up with him.

For those who does not know the nomination, here:

Here are my thoughts.

AotY: Land of the Lustrous
MotY: N/A
Best Action: Land of the Lustrous (MHA is a close second)
Best Drama: Land of the Lustrous (not nominated)
Best Comedy: Tsurezure Children
Best Slice of Life: Tsuki ga Kirei
Best Continuing Series: N/A
Best Animation: Land of the Lustrous
Hero of the Year: Phos (not nominated)
Villain of the Year: Stain
Best Opening: Can't decide between Kyoumen no Nami, The Other Side of the Wall, or sh0ut (the former and latter weren't nominated).
Best Ending: Kirameku Hamabe or Tsuki ga Kirei (the latter wasn't nominated)
Best Boy: I don't know, Todoroki? He was a pretty interesting character.
Best Girl: Don't know.
Best Film: N/A
Best CGI: Do I even need to say it at this point?
Best Score: I would give it to Land of the Lustrous again, but Re:Creators and Made in Abyss also have really good soundtracks.

Where can I begin?

AOTY: I don't care. But Boku no Hero is going to take the award. Calling it now.
Action: I'd vote for Attack on Titan S2, but of course Boku no Hero will win.
Animation: A Silent Voice. But again, Boku no Hero will win.
CGI: Attack on Titan
Comedy: Konosuba S2. I also have confidence that it will win. Though I'm disappointed that Aho-Girl isn't on here.
Continuing Series: N/A
Drama: Don't Care.
Best Boy: 100% Team Kazuma. The true MVP is him. But Deku will win of course (I'm seeing a common trend)
Best Girl: Why isn't Megumin on here? Kazuma was on Best Boy, so I don't understand. Otherwise, Urakaka will win with Akko in a close second.
Best Film: Your Name, A Silent Voice, and In This Corner of the World are all great. I'd choose In This Corner of the World though. But Your Name will win because of popularity, despite the many flaws it has.
Best Manga: In This Corner of the World. Not sure who'll win it though.
Best OP: Attack on Titan for sure. It might even win it.
Best Ending: Probably Dragon Maid. That'll probably win.
Best Score: Don't care.
Slice of Life: Don't care.
Best Hero: I'd pick Kukuri, but she'll probably be dead last. Of course, Deku will win.
Best Villain: Don't care.

Welp. Boku no Hero is the new Yuri on Ice. Just because something is popular, doesn't mean that it should win. Hopefully, the modified voting process will pull through.

AOTY: Yes BNHA would be my pick But I'm gonna vote Made in Abyss because it deserves.
MOTY: Between gay dads and Lesbian Awakening. Both were great reads.
Best Action: Hahah BNHA. The Todo vs Deku fight won this out alone.
Best Animation: A Silent Voice but we know BNHA will win because the hype so.
Best CGI: Houseki no Kuni. Aka only show of full cgi that's worth watching.
Best Comedy: Dragon Maid will probably win but Konosuba infinity.
Best Continuing Series: I literally don't care about any of these series.
Best Drama: Weird fucking picks. Maybe Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu????
Best Film: Should be A Silent Voice but you bitches will pick Your Name cause you're weak.
Best OP: Both BNHA openings were killer but AOT might win this who knows.
Best ED: Kekkai Sensen
Best Score: Made in Abyss. No contest.
Best Slice of Life: Girl's Last Tour.

Best Boy: ......yeah I'm gonna vote for Deku.
Best Girl: Ummmmmmm. Uraraka TSUYU!!!!!
Best Hero: Deku is gonna win but honestly one of the girls should win.
Best Villain: Fuck yeah Stain.

Sad to see BNHA is gonna end up being the new popular series to hate. Even I a big fan intend to spread my votes to have this NOT happen. But much better turn out then last year that's for sure.

Predicting an MHA sweep in most categories, much like Yuri on Ice last year. Half the categories are lock-ins for the show anyway (Best Boy, Best Hero, Best Action, Best Girl, Best Villian) and I'll be expecting some more post-award salt in the forums soon

I'm glad that Little Witch Academia got some attention, it was a highlight of the year that I was afraid was going to be looked over since it wasn't an earth-shattering hit or released later in the year like Abyss.
